Is your jewellery hypoallergenic?

Our pieces are made from stainless steel, which is one of the most skin-friendly metals available. It does not contain the harsh metals usually responsible for skin reactions in costume jewellery. That said, "hypoallergenic" does not mean zero risk for absolutely everyone - if you have a known severe metal allergy, please consult your dermatologist before purchase.

Will it tarnish, rust, or change colour?

Stainless steel resists tarnish and corrosion far better than plated jewellery. With normal everyday wear and basic care, it should keep its appearance for years. Heavy chemical exposure (chlorine pools, harsh cleaning products, strong perfumes sprayed directly onto the piece) can eventually dull the finish - see the care tips below.

Can I shower, swim, or sleep in it?

Stainless steel is water-resistant, and short exposure to fresh water (showers, hand-washing) is fine. We recommend taking pieces off before swimming in chlorinated pools or salt water, before using a sauna, and before sleeping, to prolong the finish and avoid catching on bedding.

How do I care for my jewellery?

  • Take it off before swimming, exercising, or using cleaning chemicals.
  • Avoid spraying perfume, hairspray, or lotion directly onto your jewellery.
  • Clean gently with warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth. Dry thoroughly.
  • Store pieces separately in a soft pouch or compartment to avoid scratches.

Orders and payment

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay where supported by your device. The full list is shown at checkout.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Payments are processed by a regulated third-party payment processor over a TLS-encrypted connection. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Can I cancel or change my order?

If your order has not yet shipped, email us as soon as possible and we will try to cancel or amend it. Once it has been handed to the carrier, it has to go through the returns process - see our Returns and Refunds Policy.

Do you offer gift wrap?

Standard packaging is suitable for gifting. If you would like a personalised message included with your order, mention it in the order notes at checkout - we will do our best to accommodate.

Shipping

Where do you ship from?

Orders are dispatched from our third-party logistics partner in the United States.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet. We currently ship to addresses within the United States only, including the 50 states and selected US territories. We plan to expand to international shipping in the future - sign up to our newsletter to be the first to know when we open up to your region.

How long does shipping take?

We aim to ship orders within 1 business day, up to 3 during high-volume periods. After dispatch, expect 3-7 business days for standard delivery within the contiguous 48 states. Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories may take 5-10 business days. See our Shipping Policy for full details.

Do you offer exchanges?

For wrong-size exchanges (same item, different size) we offer a flat $5 re-shipping fee within 30 days of delivery. For a different style, colour, or product, please return for a refund and place a new order. Details are in our Returns and Refunds Policy.

How do I track my order?

You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. Allow up to 24 hours for tracking to start updating with the carrier.

My package shows as delivered but I have not received it - what now?

Please check with anyone in your household, neighbours, your local post office, and the carrier's tracking notes first. If you still cannot locate it, email us within 14 days of the expected delivery date and we will open an investigation with the carrier.

Returns and refunds

What is your return policy?

In short: 30 days from delivery, items must be unworn and in original packaging with the original packing slip, and pierced earrings with broken hygiene seals cannot be returned. We provide free return shipping on orders of $50 or more, and on any faulty, damaged, or incorrect item. Full details are in our Returns and Refunds Policy.

Do you offer free returns?

Yes - for orders of $50 or more we cover return shipping with a prepaid USPS label. For orders under $50 you pay the return shipping yourself. For any item that arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we cover return shipping regardless of order value.

How do I return something?

Email bohdan@stainlessjewellery.com with your order number and the items you want to return. We will reply with a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) and the return shipping address within 2-3 business days (up to 5 business days for return approvals that involve our supplier).

How long do refunds take?

Realistically, please allow up to 30 business days from the day you ship the return to the day funds reach your account. The cycle is: transit to our return centre, inspection, refund issued, plus your bank's standard processing time.

My item arrived damaged or I received the wrong product - what should I do?

Email bohdan@stainlessjewellery.com within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Can I return pierced earrings?

Pierced earrings are shipped sealed for hygiene reasons. As long as the hygiene seal is intact and the earrings have not been removed from their packaging, they can be returned within 30 days. Once the seal is broken, they cannot be returned for any reason except where they are faulty or were sent in error.

Account, privacy, and other

Do I need an account to place an order?

No. You can check out as a guest. An account makes future orders faster, lets you track orders and returns, and saves your addresses.

How do I delete my account or data?

Do you have a physical store?

No, we are an online-only retailer. Our registered office address is for legal and administrative correspondence only, not for customer visits or returns.
